they are soo cute but very noisy my friend has one and I hear him every day howling when he is out walking

I'll second that, I have a beagle puppy at classes just now and yes he is vocal

I also had one a few months ago and he was the same - just love to be heard

but - beautiful puppies, I nearly bought one before I got bracken (in fact I spent months looking for one before I settled on a spaniel) Smile

Oooh, I love beagles! What a gorgeous puppy!
When we got Rufus it was a tough call between a beagle and a mini schnauzer, but we knew that most days our dog would be alone from 8.30am till noon, and while we thought a schnauzer could manage this, from what we read a beagle wouldn't have!

yip you are right Susan my friends is mad rips the house apart if he is left although that is partly there own fault for never leaving him and treating spoiling him, he thinks he has to protect them but in their defense they did get him from rescue and he is there first dog Very Happy

Beagles are gorgeous, especially as puppies! I wouldn't have one though.
