do any of you find that your dog/dogs have a preference to either you or an other family member, like with us Inca is more my dog than mums and gypsy prefers to stay with my mum if she has to make the choice between me and her.

Doogle tends to fuss more if Izzy leaves the room (although he's getting better as time goes on).

without blowing my own trumpet they are definitely my boys, they love the family but if I go one way and rest go other way I dont even have to say anything they follow me, but having said that I do everything with them, and if I'm out I have to remind family to feed them so they are not daft they know which side of the bread is buttered...

Dora loves Alan and will do as he says even though all his practices go against normal pack leadership and I'm the one that does all the walking and feeding she is getting better but if Alan's not in she just goes to her bed as she doesn't want cuddles from me, Lizzy however follows me everywhere and knows I'm boss and always lies at me feet and submits if I give her into trouble, so it's one each for us Laughing Laughing

I don't think Otto has a preference. No one person feeds him or walks him or plays with him, well all do it, so he probably loves us all equally.

He has his moments when he favours one over the other, usually if he's been hauled up for bad behaviour. He goes to the one who didn't tell him off, before sooking in with the one who did.

I would say that the boys probably prefer Chris they follow him about in the house and sit at 'his' feet if we're both watching telly!

but that can all change if there's food or playing involved! Laughing
im just jealous!
its a shame though coz he cant be bothered with them some of the time!
