My Beagles raid the fruit bowl every time I leave the house and don't put it out of reach. They LOVE grapes - whatever the colour. The only ones they leave are passion fruit, lemons or limes.

All of my dogs, Great Danes and Beagles have loved carrots. When one of my dogs was a little overweight, the vet recommended giving her carrots instead of any other treats. Frozen carrots are great for colling down overheating dogs in the Summer. These were recommended by Edinburgh University Vet School.

Great Danes are not substitute children. They are much more important than that!
