I know Star was going nuts at the pair of them, then there was just a cat scream followed by a dog yelp and jake came running upstairs with his tail between his legs and Star beside him with a I told you so look on his face

I had to rescue Molly several times from our cat, Flossy when Molly was a pup. Flossy's favourite thing was to corner Molly. The cat is evil though! Truly evil. They are now best buddies and play on the stairs and sleep on my granny and granda's bed together when Molly visits. In the end, the cat ends up on top of the wardrobe givng Molly the evil eye 'cos she knows Molly can't get at her.

Its so funny, Jake has just left the room coz Harvey came in. Only thing is Jake will forget all about it in the morning and no lesson will have been learned

I wouldn't put my money on that John. Cain used to think the same until Harvey showed him the way! Harvey thinks he is a dog and stands his ground, as Marcella says cats are far faster than dogs.
