I have to trim the beagles because they are so old and arthritic the are on restricted exercise. I hate doind it. I had got the vet to do it when they have been in. Basil's front dew claws need done. Sad I run to Auntie Jean, one of the breeders with scottish Great Dane Rescue. She is brilliant. I am a coward.

I don't need to do it now as they get plenty of road walking, used to do it too the pups to stop them hurting dora when they were feeding, got both pups dew claws removed to stop any problems with them, Dora has her's but I haven't needed to trim them as yet. I have a nail clipper and just go for it they are wee squimmers thought, but a bot of food whilst your doing it and they don't bother
