I went a wee walk yesterday with Pixel, just round some of the tracks near us, they are usually busy with rabbits, but its very overgrown so nothing but a wee terrier would get them anyway, but Pixel is always on the lookout just in case. The other track with the red path I have to watch out as its hoaching with deer and she would be off after them.
The last pic, im so proud as when we used to enter lurcher shows Pixel never did well as she was always very soft and they could tell she wasnt a working lurcher but now, with all the walks she is looking like a proper wee lurcher now she always is to me though
The start, hurry up mum, im off to look for those pesky rabbits before they get into the jaggy gorse
I cant get in there
might catch them on the run
I smell deer
hurry up mum, I have deer to catch
now im a proper muscly lurcher

The lovely Pixel - with 6 pack equivalent in that last photo. That does look a nice walk Shirley - mine love to 'seek' rabbits. _________________ No one appreciates the very special genius of your conversation as the dog does - Christopher Morley |

It is a lovely walk but there is some road to it, but 1 part is road thats not often used so I have her off lead. pics 2 and 3 that used to be a road too, i was looking at it on virtual earth and it is still road there, shows how much is has grown in the last few years. you have to walk another bit of road to get onto the deer paths but its still great.
I used to walk so far and have to turn back, i have never done the full circuit before and it only took 1hr 20 mins, im so please with my level of fitness, and im still not really fit _________________ lurchers Pixel and Zev and whippet, Fen
