I always thought dogs didn't see 2D images the way we do, but I could swear Dale watches other dogs on TV. I've turned off the sound in case that's what he was reacting to but he still watches. Then I thought it might be the flickering light that attracted him but he does seem to like dogs. He's watched a lot of the Dog Whisperer DVD and bits of Dog Borstal. He even goes up to the screen and licks it Any ideas? _________________ Janice and Dale |

Janice Mishka watches tv all the time. Her favourites are Dog borstal, Dog whisperer and Meerkat manor.
It's so funny to see her doing it. She even gets comfy and sits in front of the tv at times. |

My two definitely can recognise dogs on TV even with no sound............and a friend has dogs that love watching the meercats...........too much of a coincidence that one! _________________ John Thomson

I believe they see tv fine! I have sat and watched our dogs staring at the tv with their wee heads cocking from side to side! |

I agree Marcella. The problem is going to be when they start changing the channel |
