Hello...
Leon is "freaking the nut" tonight... he is usually not bothered by fireworks, but they are having a HUGE display about 2 mins downt he road at the clyde stadium and it is really really noisy.
Wee man is running about barking and stuff.
That's coming up on 20 mins now - hope it doesn't last much longer... either the dog will have a heart-attack or my head will burst at this rate.
Deary me!

yeah, we've got a lovely view of it here. It usually last 30-40 minutes.
Our two are ignoring it.
Hope Leon stops 'freaking the nut' soon! |

We have a lot of very loud bangs outside and Buster is hiding next to Jim. Poor wee soul he doesn't like loud noises. |

Fireworks galore here tonight aswell - the annual display is on just now and it's only five minutes down the road so it's really loud. That along with the fireworks the neds are setting off, and the ones at houses. The noise is horrific.
I've just groomed both Molly and Roxy and did some training. Roxy looked a bit worried when she was outside tonight, but nowhere near as bad as she was last year, so I did the training with her tonight to try and distract her from the noise, it seems to have worked, she's curled up and it sound asleep while I watch Waterloo Road! |

We live just round the corner from the clyde stadium. two boys at the front door watching the display. Bob sitting with feet on the ground and his bum on the step not giving a toss, Dodge giving a bark here and there and keeping up a steady low grown in the back of his throat. Tried to lock them in the livingroom while we are at the front door but they are both howling, so Dodge has his body behind the door and his head poking out - much better than I thought.
Neither of them are remotely bothered while they are in the lounge with us.
Dodge was terrified last year - what a difference a year makes - still freaking out but still wanting to be with us to watch the show |

Basil won't go over the door, back or front. He is nearly on my knee. Misty is outside admiring the pretty lights totally fascinated. _________________ Regards,

well thankfully the fireworks display stopped after about 40 mins... and Leon calmed right down.
the neighbours etc are setting some off, but he is not at all bothered about that - i think the display fireworks were just so loud (and continual) that it was scaring him - he was never bothered prev to tonight,
He is in bed now, sound asleep, and my head is thumping.
God knows why we feel the need to celebrate some guy trying to blow up the parliament many, many years ago by blowing up damn fireworks up once a year. Sometimes you have to wonder about the British mentality!
Anyway - probably some noise tomorrow then thank god that is it over for another year. _________________ Dogs are the leaders of the planet.

I agree with your feelings Linsey, but they will be set off at Christmas and New Year - they always are.

Tara was very frightened, gave her some rescue remedy, calmed her a little, then gave her a herbal tablet which helped. Hope she gets a good night sleep, and I think they should ban fireworks. Norma and Tara |
