Leon was totally fine once the main display at Clyde Stadium stopped... the normal fireworks don't seem to bother him at all.
(My head was thumping tho!)
I think perhaps he exhausted himself a wee bit as he is still sound asleep in his basket at 11am!
I am sure he will be fine tongiht tho.
Perhaps next year I will go elsewhere when it is the display at Broadwood. Maybe head over to my parents house in Kirkie. _________________ Dogs are the leaders of the planet.

after reading about how the dogs react differently makes me wonder how the poor animals cope with living near war zones ie Iraq a lot of them must be scared witless we only have it for a few weeks a year |

poor ferrets Shirley.
We've just been out a walk with the dogs, just along to Tesco and back. It's like a warzone out there tonight. LOADS of fireworks going off in every direction and sirens wailing!
Thankfully the two boys wandered round and back without any problems. Diesel had his head up a couple of times as some bigger rockets went off but he didn't bark or anything.
I still scare Murphy more than any firework can! |

Have to say last night was pretty wild, I took the girls out as usual over to Westfield and round the loch lots of fireworks going off but they were fine had a wee look up a couple of times but they were quite happy as there two pals Gus and Robbie were with them, only issue was some stupid family letting off their fireworks on the st right next to the health centre lots of cars passing by and people so we had to tell them to wait till we passed (silly gits letting of fireworks on the road). Only real problem was a neighbor letting them off from 8.30 till 11 I was pretty miffed, Dora & Lizzy wanted out for their usual pee at 10 before bed and when I let them out they were letting off these massive loud ones that scared the life out of Dora who dived right back in the house and Lizzy was so desperate she came with me to the garden done her pee with her wee ears right back and ran right back in once she done it with her tail between her legs, I didn't make a fuss just sat back down and ignored them, Lizzy jumped on my knee and dora went to bed and fell asleep. Hope thats it till next year wish they would just ban them they are so much hassle and dangerous. |

yeh I know John I was really mad, and was also thinking of the families near by with small children or school aged children who would have been in bed, there is no way they would have been sleeping. I was tempted to go over and tell them to stop but thankfully they stopped at 11 but I felt that was way to late on a Monday night they had all weekend. It annoys me how irresponsible people can be, they obviously don't give a hoot about their neighbors |
