Has anyone any tips for stopping Dale coming towards me when he stands? Even at home he moves his own length every time. I've tried putting a lead on the floor and putting him behind it every time he comes forward but he doesn't seem to get the idea of staying in the one place.

my girls do it two, iv been thinking about trying to do it with the door between us as our doors have glass Windows so she could see me. but i thing it would be better if i started her back on the clicker training as it is hard to get food through a door .
i was just thinking that its a physical barrier and might help me get her to do things at a distance instead of right affront of me

I've been trying to see when he moves. Its as if when he goes from down to sit his body comes forward and when he stands he brings his front feet forwards so by the time he's down all six he's easily moved his own length. I'm not sure he even realises what he's done
