just a wee note, washing dogs too often can cause the skin to dry out, they have oils in their coats naturally and washing them can strip them off. generally only need done when dirty or if for a medical condition. _________________ your cat will never annoy by barking at 3am, he wont attack the postman or eat the curtains, although he may climb them to see how the room looks from the ceiling... |

yeah, well aware of that Suzanne, but I washed them again in case the previous was had not rinsed them well enough ........... seems to have helped. That combined with the oil should hopefully do the trick.
Besides the smell of fox sh!t in the house isn't pleasant .............. Murphy has a habit of rolling in it! |

Im glad you said that Suzanne as I thought I just had minging dogs, I very rarely wash them, they usually get a bath in the summer and thats it....unless someone rolls in fox poo...Pixel usually
Course I have it easy, since they are short coated, I would think the longer coated dogs would get rather smelly specially in wet weather and dirty of course as the dirt sticks into their coats _________________ lurchers Pixel and Zev and whippet, Fen
