Hehe just heard on the news about this. In Edinburgh there are some people who are ' Pooper Scooper Snoppers ' They have cameras on local parks and drive a small van around. If an owner is caught not picking up after their dog then they can be fined £50 and if they do not pay the fine they face a criminal record. I think it's a good way to get people to pick up after their dogs but the name just makes me laugh |

Stupid name I agree. However, if that encourages responsible behaviour by dog owners that is good. _________________ Regards,

I agree Lorna.
At the top of our road there is a small patch of grass which has about 4 poo bins and all the lazy people take their dogs up there and have the cheek not to clean up!! ( i have seen this) i would volunteer to do this if given a different name lol.
I am thinking about reporting the mess to the council Would they do anything though? _________________ Happiness is being loved by 2 Great Danes |

Emma just outside my grans flat there was a bit of grass with poo bins and loads of people didn't pick up after their dogs so my gran phoned the council and they said they would keep an eye out but nothing was ever done |

Our local dog warden has the same power to fine you if you don't clear up after your dog.
For the general public, including dog owners, dog fouling is the number one concern.....higher even than aggressive dogs _________________ John Thomson

My sister phoned the council ask to get the poop bin emptied where she lives. as it was overflowing and the kids where throwing the poop bags at each other. and she was told they would do it this time but if she called again they would charge her £15 for special up lift to empty them!!!!! |

We have 3 bins which are handy given the amount of dogs in the area, but what's missing is one on the nature path round the back of the estate. I still pick up, but no one else does even when it's on the path.
Lethal on the trainers after dark. |

Round my way is the same there are bins on nearly every corner but no-one bothers to pick it up!
Last night I walked Millie round or estate and there is a patch of grass dogs are always pooing on but it had all been flicked on to the pavement there was mountains of it I think it might have been the guy that stays in the house beside there deciding to take matters into his on hands!!!! _________________ When a dog wags her tail and barks at the same time, how do you know which end to believe? |
