Can someone settle this discussion between Martin and I about an exercise in training class. (I sometimes wonder if we were both at the same one!). I say there is an exercise where the dog is either sitting or lying down and the handler walks around and behind the dog who is not supposed to move during it. Martin disagrees and says there is no such thing. Which of us is hallucinating?
Thanks
Gaelle

we did that at puppy class ie the dog had to sit while I did a full circle of him and he wasn't to move from his position (ie turn round to follow)

Gaelle,
that is a 'sit and circle your dog' very similar to a sit stay but because you are always close to the dog and not actually leaving them behind you some dogs find this easier to start with.
