Here are a couple of pictures I took a couple of days ago of the algae at the local dams.

This algae is only at the edge of certain parts, not the whole way round. Certain parts are quite clean looking, this part is boggin' as you can see!

I try and avoid letting my dogs in this part of the water. However, very rarely, the crossbreed has a dip in it! Rolling Eyes Laughing She has come to no harm so far!

Anyone got any suggestions about this algae? Confused

dunno about whether it's the problematic one or not, but it's manky looking!!!!! Confused
I'd keep my dogs out.

I can usually keep them out of that part. The other dam and other parts of that dam are fine.

No, it's not. According to my grandfather, it used to be many years ago. They're just big ponds now, if you like!

Our water comes from Loch Thom, up on the hills.
