Just thought I'd say that the lessons learned at the training class are already working in terms of getting Otto to walk to heel.
He is no longer wearing the halti and is getting much better on the lead. Still not perfect or consistent.
Just showing him who's boss and moving forward seems to do the trick. He still gets distracted and excited by other dogs and smells, but we just keep walking and reward him when he calms down again.
Not there yet, but it's improving. We just gave up too soon last time. |

Great, see all it needs is practice for him and you, it will be inconsistent to start but the good bits will eventually get more than the not so good bits good to hear he is getting the idea _________________ lurchers Pixel and Zev and whippet, Fen
