This morning I saw an ad in the local pet shop window looking for a new home for a 9 year old cocker spaniel. No reason or sex was given , just a contact number to ring between 9am and 7pm. I took a note of it in case anyone is interested.
I have also contacted cocker spaniel rescue.so here's hoping!

That is a disgrace that someone is giving up a 9yr old dog....though I suppose it could be the owner has passed away and the family dont want it, I suppose till you know the reason why we shouldnt be so quick to judge Rolling Eyes

As of yesterday no they were having problems finding anyone due to his age.

Do you have the number? I feel sad when a see these stories, I will talk to my Mum and Mark and maybe we could let him enjoy the rest of his life?

Just a quick update on the "orphaned" ( year old cocker spaniel. He is now successfully rehomed,and well settled and very happy. Now that's what I call a result!!! Very Happy Very Happy Very Happy Very Happy Very Happy
