claire for the moment i would keep an eye on them and get them out for a walk together away from any-ones territory!..............bottom line is you and mark are top dogs! PACK LEADERS !.......just remember pack leader status! both dogs need to know that you are in control and not them! it will take a few days to settle in but don't panic!

They will settle, honest. We have to go through this each time a new rescue arrives. They sort themselves out. Having a crate, or a safe space for each of the them to get some space from each other is a good idea.
Poppy annoyed the blazes out of Basil at first, but right now they are sleeping together in a heap quite happily. (3 weeks on that is not bad.)
Well done people. You are doing something I hope will make you and the dogs happy.
