Just a word of caution on these wormers. Our vets are pushing these instead of drontal etc.

Blue had diarrhea for 2 weeks after I wormed him with these.
I did a lot of research and found these affect loads of dogs in the same way.

Sadie wasn't too bad but then she is made of sterner stuff than a GSD.
I had to go thought the starve for 24 hours, chicken & rice routine twice before Blue was back to his normal self.
Never again, I'll stick to drontal when & if I worm him again.
Thought this was worth sharing with other dog owners.
I think the main breeds this affects are Border Collies & GSD from what I gather on the internet.

We have used the Millbamax once before and our dogs were fine, but I think if it affects some dogs like that then I would probably stick to the Drontal, I usually ask for Drontal, but our vets are good and if thats what you ask they wont try to push something else onto you.

I love my vet and he has almost retired now, but his daughter has the practice and her and her partner are also great, I have utmost trust in them

Yes indeed you live & learn.

I will stick to tried & tested Drontal in the future.

I'd only just bought a VAX off eBay just before this started and boy did it get a thorough testing.

Poor Blue, I'd be coming down in the morning to a lake of poo.

I never told him off though as you only had to look at him to see how devastated he was.
I just let him go to the garden, got the Vax out and carried on cleaning.
