The first 100 dogs to enter will receive a free doggy bag & dog tag. All dogs will receive a completion certificate on receipt of sponsorship.

For more details telephone Jim on 01324 826222 or email jim.brown@strathcarronhospice.org

They are looking for £5 entry fee per dog and each entrant is asked to raise a minimum sponsorship of £20 to take part.

I emailed him and her replied with...

Hi there Ashley
Well, this is first venture with dog walks !!
We have 4 planned for the year, Cumbernauld, Alloa, Stirling and Falkirk, and all are approx. 3 miles long in local country parks, starting at 10.30 am with the final walker setting off at 1pm.
There`s a £5 registration/entry and its hoped that each dog can raise at least £20 in sponsorship from their friends, family and neighbours.
Since Palacerigg is our first ever, we`re sort of keeping our fingers crossed that theres quite a few entries, and so far we`re very pleased with around 30 dogs registered so far. We`re having the North Lanarkshire council providing their `poo` bags and are very kindly doing a free electronic dog tagging session too, and there`s a mobile pet shop and hopsfully a dog behaviorist on hand as well…
If you`d like me to send the registration forms to you, please send your details, and how many you`d like, and i`ll get them in the post asap !
Hope that helps…
Regards, Jim

sounds good... and times should be OK fitting in with the classes as long as we get away in the earlier groups...

I'd be up for doing the walk with you Ashley.

Ashley, Basil and I could do this but I need to be back in time for Poppy's class at 12.30 so it has to be the very earliest. Thank you.
