I remember hearing about this when it happened. I tried to find out where the dog was being kept and if it was OK. That's taken a year to come to court - ridiculous.

I hope this evil, disgusting, dreg of a human excrement really gets what is coming to him - dog lovers in the jail sounds good - 3 months sounds ridiculously lenient for such blatant cruelty.

The fact this repulsive human did this in front of a child and despite being yelled at to stop by passers by would surely indicate that caging such filth would be best for animals and humans alike.

3 months in jail??!! No deterrent /punishment at all although I suppose it's better than nothing or just a fine. If he can do that to a defenceless animal what could he do to a child??

I hope the poor wee dog has a nice new home now. I couldn't work for the RSPCA, i'd be in prison for murder within a week, things like that make me so angry
