Cant anyone tell me. How do you train your dog to take things out the washing machine. Yoda takes the things out the machine but then runs away with the clothes.

Never mind the dogs.

It does not take long.

It took me the first 10 years of to teach Debbie to to that.

The last eight she has done it fine.

you could try trading the cloths for treats that was she might learn to take the cloths out and give them strait to you as she will get a treat and think it is fun.

my problem is encouraging the girls to pick something up

ohh I love doing this with Kiera, I throw all the dirty clothes to the bottom of the stairs and she takes them to the front of the washing machine for me, although she does love hubbies work clothes puke_r I did this to keep her from getting bored when she was in season. never tried her to get the clothes out though. but she does drop things on command but giving up for a treat would no doubt work. if only i could train her to hoover, stack the dishwasher and other household chores and i could be set for life Laughing
