Ok here's the thing.

I've always believed in getting my dogs neutered but I'm worried if I get Star done it will change his personality Confused He is great just now and really cheeky and full of fun. He isn't aggressive or hyper and is full of character. He doesn't mount anyone or anything. I have spoken to the vet and she said we should just leave him but I'm unsure.

What do you guys and gals think?

The consensus is that if you do not intend to breed then it's best to have them done. Neither of ours have been done ........... yet. But we will. There are health benefits to having it done and I don't believe it will change their personality, just calm them down if they are humping everything or being aggressively dominant.

I guess there is no point in not getting him done, probably unfair on him to leave it since I am never going to breed him.

We had Buster done a fortnight ago and he is still as daft as ever. He recovered quickly, but he acquired an infection in the wound. After a dose of antibiotics everything is clear and he is ready to get back to his walks with everyone.
We played the video of Sunday's walk and when he heard the dogs he was up running round the house looking for all his pals.
