Hi Eleanor
I used to go to the rainbow room in glasgow (for 15 years) - but now I have to feed two dogs and have to have a re-think
I go to Jonies in Condorrat and pay £40 for a colour and cut and can really recommend the Dark haired Tracy.
I have had a base colour and foils and that with a cut comes in about £60
number is:01236 724 990 |

Pontello in the village is good. Karen in there used to cut my hair, I only changed because my nieces friend has now opened her own salon and I go there (she bought signs off me so I get my hair cut there ) She's good too but it's Kirkintilloch. Estillo Hairdressing, Shona is her name. £24 for a cut & blowdry......... which is on a par with Pontello. |

A woman's loyalty to their hairdresser never fails to amaze me...
I have a set of clippers if anyone wants to borrow them |

cheers guys
Stuart............thanks but no thanks, I have a person at home who offers the clippers on a regular basis
don't you think girls that it's a really hard thing to do............change hairdressers even when you don't always like what they do to you, cause I never seem to look the girl in the picture

ooo hairdressers. I had a real problem when I moved up here trying to find one. I managed to find a really good one...initially I thought he was quite expensive at £21 for cut and blow dry...but then I tried somewhere cheaper and she cut it really badly.
So I am sticking with him! |

I used to have my colour done at one place and my hair cut at another. Then the girl who it cut left the shop where she worked and set up with a colleague. I then started going to her for colour too and never looked back.
It's in Glasgow and not the cheapest, but she's a brilliant cutter. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend her ito anyone who is happy to travel into town. _________________ "My little dog - a heartbeat at my feet" - Edith Wharton |

I have never had to pay for my hair to get done. Saves me a oh I swore fortune!
My great aunt is one of the best, if not the best, hairdresser in the town. She should've have opened her own shop years ago, but it's not her thing! So, instead she hires a chair in a shop locally, and pays an extortionate amount of money yearly to hire it, and for the use of the juniors etc. She's the most expensive in the shop, if I had to pay, I couldn't afford her, so i'm very lucky! |
