Some people are not getting email notification of new posts ot PM's............as far as I can see nothing has changed at this end.

Mainly hotmail, yahoo, gmail etc that are affected so it is perhaps that the notification emails are being bounced back as spam............please check that your email is set with the site email, admin@cumbernaulddogtraining.co.uk set as a safe sender.

This problem has now been fixed by our web host............it seems to have occurred when the site was moved to the upgraded server.
Too technical for me but at least now it is fixed.sorry for any inconvenience caused.

We are Kendal......a new upgrades server ( basically a big hard drive that stores the site). The ammont of visits we are getting was slowing things down too much.........i certainly notice the site moving quicker.....does anyone else see adifference?

Kendal,

I have a Maxtor "One Touch" External Hard Drive... it's really good: I use it to back up all my business stuff, so I'd recommend it.

They have a whole range available, depending on what you are looking for... check out: http://shopping.kelkoo.co.uk/ctl/do/search?siteSearchQuery=Maxtor+One+Touch&fromform=true

Just seen this little beauty... http://www.maplin.co.uk/...

A 'LaCie' 320Gb External drive for £49.99 (including VAT and delivery).

Might not be as many Gb as some, but 320Gb is plenty for most people and if you need more storage than that as a back-up, then best not to have it all in one place. Talking photos.. videos are a different kettle of fish.
