Otto regards the rain with ...he stands at the door has a sniff and heads straight back in again. We have to push him out if it's bed time.

Once he's out he's fine. Jessie.

Ashley this breed do suffer from heart defects notably heart murmurs.

He had no problems with either his level of activity nor the length of time he exercised for here. If he is now struggling I would suggest it is time to have his heart checked by a vet and I certainly wouldn't be pushing him into very long walks until you get those results back.
Do these pictures suggest a dog which has been under exercised?

Think you jumped on the defensive a bit there Eileen! I can assure you his heart, at the moment is fine, and I am very well aware of all breed-related conditions thank you Smile

There was nothing personal in my post to you.

Murphy's fitness levels have increased. He is a different dog, in all respects, and everyone on here will vouch for that! Cool

He certainly is thanks to all hard work and effort you and Jaydee have put in! Smile He's extremely happy and doesn't mind being handled (even at his rear end which apparently was a problem before you got him) or groomed and was the perfect gentleman the day we looked after him. He's great with Holly too. He's just a great wee guy and so nice to see such a contented rescue dog!
