Still waiting on orthopedic diagnosis for Bear but as he's starting to weight bear on his leg vet thought that he could up his exercise, he has stopped the anti-biotic although the hole for draining gunk isn't healed. Also Bears pain meds have been halved but if he deteriorates then these can be upped again.
As Bear has been so down & uninterested in life thought trip to training just to see everyone might help him so that is why I brought Bear up & he certainly perked up when he saw Janice especially Shocked Wink Very Happy but also other dogs & people he knows. Thank you to all who stopped to pay attention to him it made a difference Cool . Need to change name of club to include therapy as well as training. Sorry about treats Janice Embarassed bit undignified of Bear to eat whole lot seems to be overly fond of your liver cake will get him into Priory once he's better Smile

MANY,MANY,MANY,MANY, HEARTFELT THANKS to all of you for listening to Bear's woes and for All your kind thoughts & advice. Still not there yet but hopefully getting there (everything crossed)!!!!!! Will let you all know what orthopedic specialist says when I know soon we hope & how he's doing with his recovery. THANKS AGAIN, Jenny

Got a phone call from vet last night to say the report from orthopedic guy was back. There is nothing on x-ray to indicate any underlying cause for his lameness Very Happy So its back to square one as vets not sure what it can be. He's to go back on 25th or sooner if he worsens, which so far hasn't happened he's just not any better either. Not sure what to do for him that will help Sad

Well it is good news that there is nothing sinister going on in there but it must still be a worry as to how long he is going to be like that, poor Bear to still be hurting and poor you, must be hard knowing he is sore but not know how to make it better Sad

Good luck and thoughts to you both and hope the big guy gets better soon
