the smiddy party nights don't start until the 5th December

just made some inquiries re: food and nights out......................

the smiddy 2 - 4 - 1 deal ends on the 7th November and then they close for refurbishment until .................................... the 17th November ........when they reopen they will be offering a new menu at 2 main meals for £10....which is still reasonable....

there is also broadwood farm but you cannot book a table there you just need to turn up and seat yourself ... they will have an offer of a 2 course set meal for £5 but they haven't got the menus printed yet so don't know what food they are offering.

My preference would probably be the smiddy.

if it is in november after they open it will be the new menu tow home cooked meals for a tenner....if they follow the tradidtion of the past few years it is the month of December that they have the xmas menu and not the usual friday cheap deal Laughing

I can do all of these dates.....

ok most people seam to prefer the 29th, so since the smiddy isint starting there party nights until the 5th then why dont we go for beafeater?? its £16.95 for 3 course meal, and it means if we went to drink afterwards we can stay in the same place and its also central to most people i think, the resturant is lovely since it has been done up
