Hi guys,

I know I have not been on here in forever!!

Yesterday at my stables, the loveliest black lab you could ever imagine was found.

He is young, probably less than a year old.
He is incredibly friendly and loving.
He is in good condition with a shiny coat and is a lovely weight.
He knows his commands - sit, down, stay, leave - he fetches a toy and brings it back.
He walks beautifully on the lead.

Someone has spent a lot of time with this dog. He is the most wonderful wee thing.

He has no collar and no microchip has been found.
He has been taken to the police and will go to Cardonald today.

Someone must have lost this beautiful boy and will be missing him!!!

He was found early afternoon at Bankend Stables, just outside Milngavie, and could have been lost from nearby Mugdock Park.

He must miss his owners so much, please, please pass the word to anyone you know that he has been found!! If he is not claimed, and has been dumped, then this is a dog in a million, and if anyone is looking for a new baby, he could be the one for you. I would have him in a flash if there was anyway I could make it possible, but there just isn't. But hopefully he will find his home!!!

Thank you!!!
xxxx

Hi Janis!! I know, I keep saying it,but I really will need to get back to classes with Rufus!

I just feel so sorry for this wee boy.

I came back to add..just found out that he has not actually been scanned yet, the police do not have a scanner, so still hope that he is chipped and his owners will be found.

I really can't believe that such a lovely dog could just have been dumped.

i hope he finds his home, fingers crossed he is chipped like john mentioned, my mum and dad would maybe interested, they dont have time to train a puppy but a young dog is probably what would be best for them. But anyway that is a last resort i really hope his owners get him back:)

Thank you all so much for caring about this wee man.
Just had brilliant news, he is back with his owners who have been looking for him and who were on the doorstep at 9am to collect him! He lives on a farm, and I suppose he must just have wandered!
I am so, so happy for him, just knew that he was too nice to have been dumped! Maybe they will put a collar on him now though, as if he had a visible tag then he would have gone home on Sunday and not spent two scary nights in the police station!
