Graeme
don`t worry about this a lot of dogs eat grass to aid their digestion when they are feeling a bit sick. My collie Bubbles eats grass all the time even when she is fine. I make sure that I don`t let her go near anywhere that has been sprayed by the council but apart from that I allow her as it will do her no harm

My Rosie does it obssessively too - every time I catch her I tell her off as, with any food, she will eat until she is sick if I allow it
My others do it too but as they can't digest it it always comes back up so I'm afraid they're not allowed to eat it - every time I see them doing it I tell them off but they WILL go back to it straight away so it's a constant battle of wills - mine is ALWAYS stronger you'll be shocked to read! _________________ Staffies are my life! my dog eats grass to be pat and mick for whatever reason. I dont know if its better or worse than the amount of rabbit and sheep poo he ate today |

Both my dogs have always eaten grass with no ill effects but I find if they have been feeling a bit off colour they will more of it and that seems to make them sick. _________________ Happiness is watching my dog chase leaves dancing in the breeze. |

I have a bunch of coos here too I used to think it was just the lurchers and running dogs but after speaking to folk realised some dogs just do it
Luka has started it now too, think he just copies the other lot tho _________________ lurchers Pixel and Zev and whippet, Fen

Most dogs will do it to make themselves sick......I'm convinced my Rosie does it simply because she's a greedy mare _________________ Staffies are my life! Visit us at www.staffies.co.uk |

Tilly eats grass when she is feeling under the weather, does her no harm so I don't really discourage it (unless we are on a walk and it's raining heavily) _________________
