Sorry to hear about Buster, I hope he is keeping better now.
Hopefully with your vets help and the correct medication you will be able to control this illness.
We went through this with Heidi.... it is quite frightening and upsetting when you don't know what is happening Sad
But you will be strong for him and help him through....
Cant give you any more advise, I think Jack has covered everything.... We couldn't be in the same room with Heidi when she was coming round as she did lash out a bit in her confused state.... and being a rottie x boxer had a big bite!! Shocked so we decided to be on the safe side and kept watch over her through the glass door... and then after a couple of minutes we could go in and comfort her....poor wee girl.
Anyway I'm sure you will get it under control and he may never even have another episode.... fingers crossed for him Smile

Thanks everyone for your concern and advice.
When Buster comes round he usually sits up and looks at you as if to say oh I swore hell what happened there and then he goes back to what he was doing. After the last fit he was very lethargic all day.

Hi Jim/Geraldine,

I hope you don't mind but I've just created a new thread giving some links to websites that give information etc about this condition. I originally posted it on my own forum when creating the Health section there. I hope it is of some use and perhaps some comfort to you. Hope you get Busters condition under control soon.xxx
