We were all walking in the park today and about after one hour let the kids play in the swing park when Craig sat on the bench he noticed that Enzo has a lump on the top of his right leg, i then looked underneath his fur and the lump is red, is this anything to be worrying about do you think, he has also been vomiting every morning for the past two weeks and bit of the runs, poor soul |

Where is the lump.. is it on the outside of the front legs at the top??
A lot of dogs have a rough patch there from lying down, getting up etc..it starts off red like that then gets harder and rough.. _________________

Some dogs are prone to cycsts, many are harmless but they're not usually red. Sounds more "boil" like or perhaps an infection after a foreign body possibly even a thorn has pierced the skin? I'd get him checked out at the vets to be on the safe side as the upset tum would have me concerned by now - that could be indicative of an infection too as it's going on so long.
Keep me posted please as I won;t have anything nasty happening to that boy _________________ Staffies are my life! Visit us at www.staffies.co.uk |

Tara has a cyst that goes red a wee bit every now and again but the vet just gave us cream and said they wouldn't worry unless it got really big, the cream does help it.... Hope Enzo is ok, let us know how he gets on |

There was one site that said if the lump is red cannot move it about, excessive thirst and upset tummy then to seek medical advice asap , really wish i hadn't looked now and just waited until Monday as he has all of those |

You could always just phone the vet and they give you a mobile number to call and they give you advice without charging you anything, I usually do that and 9 out of 10 times they tell me just to watch over them and wait till the surgery opens up |
