We almost got one of their puppies but the timing was wrong - Otto's grandad is one of hers though. And he's since been mated with Otto's mum so if it's all worked, we'll get one of them.

Not that we'd show them, but it's nice to know they come from good stock. nice natures as well.

My attitude too Suzanne! I couldn't do the whole show thing - it's just not me but it is wonderful basking in this reflected glory Very Happy Very Happy Very Happy Very Happy

totally - our dog when I was a kid was a lab/GSD mix with something undefinable in there and she was a lovely dog. So definitely not a pedigree snob.

but it is nice when someone stops you to tell you what a handsome dog you have - this happened a few times up north where they know their gundogs.

But he has a better life than a showdog....apparently his tail is too low and those scars from his adventures are a big no no. And he's too leggy because he gets to run. He'd rather be sniffing the moss than be kate moss.

Couldn't agree with you more Jack. The good thing about us all is we all know for a FACT that our dogs are THE best and that anyone who doesn't agree must be completely blind or utterly insane! Very Happy Very Happy Very Happy Very Happy Very Happy
