SKC Agility Today

Today we had our first every official agility competition at SKC today.

I got a 4th and a 2nd with Molly and I am chuffed to bits. Not bad for a Westie at her first competition! She did really well today, and behaved beautifully.

I had Roxy entered in 2 classes, however, I was going to pull her out of them as she hadn't yet mastered the weave - and today's weave in Roxy's class had 12 poles. I was persuaded to enter Roxy in her class anyway (we missed one class by then), so I did. She didn't do the weave very well, but she did do the rest of the course perfectly, which i'm very pleased about as there were some tight turns and sequences. She had fun (which is the main thing) and it was good experience and practice for her.

We all had a great day and I bought 2 new collars for Roxy. Material combi collars, but instead of chain loops they have material loops, whch is just what I wanted for her.
