Hello,

I have not been on the forum for a while and hoping someone can give me a bit of advice. I am going away hopefully this weekend and am thinking of putting Barney into kennels. He was supposed to be getting looked after by my Mum but he has been an absolute nightmare the past couple of weeks and I am not sure I would subject her to have to be with him due to his behaviour!

So the question is to see if anyone knows of any good kennels I could put him into. I live in Cumbernauld.

Thanks for any advice!

Lesley

Lesley. We have used the ones in Crowwood called Courtyard Kennels 01417794302 for Dexter for single days and the odd weekend. Dexter is always happy to got there and bounces out of the car to the entrance. When we go to collect him you can see him coming out of the kennel quite happy to see whoever is fetching him. I know Mr Ashford has a soft spot for labradors.

Thanks for the reply.

Kendal, it would be good if you are able to find out if there would be space at Crowbank Kennels. Also, do you know how much it would be from Friday until the Sunday afternoon time? I have no idea how much kennels are.

Do you know how much the kennels are at Courtyard??

Thanks

Lesley

didnt get to see the Diery today far to much going on as we had new staff in.
we wer full today but looking at the bored it looks like we have more going home at the weekend than coming in, so there should be space.

i think its £9 including VAT for one night. but we are getting close to the time of year that my boss charges a minimum 5 day charge. dont know when she starts that but i know its like that from June till august.

best bet would be to call up and ask.

We've used Crowbank for years, great kennels.

I didn't know there was a minimum 5 day charge during the summer though! Ooofft!

You do have to book well in advance usually.

yeah, it because if we only have one kennel free for say 5 days, say Monday to Friday and we get someone wanting to book their dog in Tuesday till Wednesday. then we get some one calling up after that wanting to book their dog in for the same week but for the full 5 days, we have to turn them down, because we can take the dog for 2 out of the 5 days. if that make sense.

i think its about profit you'v got an empty kennel for 3 when i could be filled. cant remember if its a 4 or 5 day minimum charge. i dont think it starts till June

Hello

Thanks to everyone for advice on kennels. Crowbank are fully booked for this weekend which is a shame. On a happier note though, my cousin has very kindly offered to take Barney in for the weekend to keep her chocolate lab company! All finally sorted!

Thanks for your help
