dax is now 5months and is suffering from pains in his legs two front ones at different times anyone have any suggestions to help him or should i go to the vet but i know what the vet will say "growing pains".he is getting greenlip mussel extract but that is debatable if it works for this kind of thing. i was told to take him off puppy food and put him on adult to reduce protein.

is it when he is walking. what happens when you touch his legs.

is he yelping and whining, is he limping or holding the leg up when walking.

I'd also try a little cod liver oil or Vitapet into his diet. If it IS growing pains then it stands to reason it could also affect his joints and muscles - help oil those and it should help ease the pain Smile

If it doesn't stop then I WOULD go to the vets just to be sure that all is as it should be Wink
