Just thought it was necessary to say hello here so Hi!.

A bit about myself: My name is James, I am Thirteen years of age and we have a boxer dog named Chester who occasionally Miss behaves. Enough said.

That's a picture of Chester from when he was a puppy. He hasn't changed a bit!

He is gorgeous! I really love boxers.
We have a 20 month old Great Dane called Hektor.

Hi James.
I have 2 Great Danes. Basil is older but Poppy is not yet 2 years old. See the avatar at the side of this post.

Chester is at that awkward age for boxers. We used to have a rescue brindle Boxer who looked just like Chester. He was called Winston. He too went through a stage of taking off.
A long line so that you can stop him will help.
Lots of treats when he comes back.
And stay calm. If he thinks you are angry with him he will not come back. I know how hard that can be...
When you are training him lots of games of hide and seek where he has to chase and find you can be good too.
If he runs, try running away from him.

Just remember you are the boss and don't let him rule you.
I hope you enjoy the forum. Chester looks like such a handsome boy.
