Hi, sorry I havnt been on the forum for a while but thought I would post this.

Just been off the phone with Janey and she told me Belle was attacked by a staffie down the glen this morning.

She is OK, she was shaken up and limping but Janey managed to pull the staff off her by it's harness before it done any real damage. She reckons if it wasnt for Tess, who tried to block it as it charged Belle then was going mental when it was on her, it would have had Belles neck. The owner then walked on without apologising or checking that Belle was alright.

Janey is going to the police to report it when she finishes work today. We have seen the dog down the glen before, it is normally with a women who also has a greyhound, we have been told she is from Kildrum but dont know anything else.

If anyone know anything about this dog or where it lives we would be grateful.

If you are down the glen and you see a women with a staffie and a greyhound then beware.

omg what a nightmare. What are people thinking. Everyone thinks they can do and say what they want without any repercussions. I hope the dogs are ok.

Poor thing. Alfie got jumped on by a staffie couple wks ago. Didn't bite him, just scared him but it was a woman with it and a staff x not a greyhound so guess there's more than one. This woman was v apologetic and nice tho but she did say he was always like that which made me think she should have had him on a lead!!!

Hope belles ok and not too traumatised!
