skye got spayed on tuesday,everything has been fine she went back to the vet on friday for her post op check. vet was really happy, u would hardly know that there was a scarr, and skye has not been up or down... but when i came in from work this morning when i looked at the wound there is a lump about the size of my fist under the skin. anybody got any ideas what this could be? it will defo be a trip to the vet tomorrow i think x

could it be fluid ? Echo was a little swollen but that was because he stitches were a bit on the tite side. but nothing like what you have describe. how are the stitches looking.

let us know how you get on at the vets.

Would you be able to post a pic? Is the lump particularly warm in comparison to the rest of her body? Where is the lump on her body, Top of incision?

Would be a quick check up from the vet if I were you too.

Skye was at the vet on Monday. Vet said that they could not rule out a hernia. The vet said there was a lot of fluid around the lump. So they took a sample of the fluid. She has to have no exercise until she goes back on Monday. And I have to put an ice pack on it as much as she will tolerate. But today the lump had shrunk form The size of a clenched fist to about the size of a small plum so that's good. Soz Laura Neva hot a chance to get a picture. The wound looks fantasic and I can not see any visible stitches as the vet says they are done internally. X
