Got Max on Saturday he is a great wee dog. He is chewing things he shouldn't (ignoring his toys!) if I leave him in for any length of time. Has anyone got any suggestions??
lol have you tried a kong filled with cheese, peanut butter or tined dog food. have you considered crating him when you are out at least till you know what he is going to be like in the house. has he been round to see buster yet.
come on where are the photos of Max (aka hairy Buster lol) _________________ microchiping and grooming www.chipnclip.co.uk
bet it's lovely to have him home finally...... and like kendal looking forward to seeing photos.
again like kendal i agree with the crate til you know what he's like and he knows his boundaries and kongs are great! peanut butter , squirty cheese , liver cake , broken dog biscuits whatever mixed together and put in the kong..... given in or out the crate it should occupy him. makes him work for a treat and allows him to work out how to get to it so can quell the boredom.
the other thing i would suggest is possibly an old dressing gown of yours with your scent on it for him to snuggle down on and leaving a radio on for him......if he hears voices in the background it's like he's not in the house on his own.... i do this with mine. _________________ Cockapoo's...a little of this, a little of that..........
the perfect combination!
