Just to let those of you who know Lorna McAllister who has Great Danes, Basil and Poppy is in hospital after a fall!
After being told about her by Lynn , kendal and I went to the hospital to see her and found her in good fetal! She has a rather swollen large left leg which consists of fibia and tibia damage and a jigsaw for a knee as with her fall she managed to shatter her knee into approx 26 pieces.
Looks like she will be in hospital for a little while and will need to rest for a good bit and those who know Lorna will know this will not come easy to this active lady.
Her danes needless to say miss her especially Basil who has almost taken up residence at the middle landing looking out the window awaiting her return. We wish her well and look forward to hearing when she is allowed home and send her speedy recovery wishes. _________________ Cockapoo's...a little of this, a little of that..........

Was really sorry to hear this news. Sounds like a particularly nasty injury
We wish her all the best.

Lorna got home after less than in hospital, but is still house bound. she is going to be in her leg brace for a further 2 months before they decide if they will just replace the knee completely, then Lorna will be on the waiting list for a knew knee but that could be months before that would happen.
so Lorna is a little bored and frustrated. she i a very active person always off doing home checks for the Grate Dane rescue, or away with her own dogs or out with friends. so being house bound is taking its tole on her.
i have been walking poppy for her so she is getting a good run to take the edge off he loopiness. _________________ microchiping and grooming www.chipnclip.co.uk
