They are. they're unfortunately the only ones I can get a decent level of cover for with Muffin because of her age :/ probably would of been better with a savings account tbh!

Hi
I use pet plan who have been great so far. They do a covered for life policy so if your pet develops an illness early in life, it is covered every year without paying extra. I have 4 cats and 1 dog on this type of policy with pet plan. I am hoping to get Tubbs insured with them too. I have made claims and have been paid out no problem.

On another note, I may have another customer for puppy classes. Just found out today that my oldest son has bought a chihuahua pup for his girlfriend!! He is getting her in 2 weeks when she is 12 weeks old and has had both her jags. Gayle already has 2 older Alaskan Malamute bitches and a horse. Apparently the chihuahua will be spending time at both houses!, so I'm told!
Life is never easy!

Ignore the last half of my last post. My son was winding me up and has just told me!!!
He had pictures with the pup too.
I could kill him right now!!, although I am relieved that I don't have to juggle an unplanned family member

I have 3 cats, a kitten, and 2 German Shepherd bitches in our house. One dog, Tubbs, is a foster dog who will be staying on for good. Things in here can be a bit hectic sometimes.

I don't know if pet plan will do a covered for life policy with Tubbs because she is 7, but they will cover her.
One of my cats is allergic to just about everything, including cats and they pay for his immunotherapy injections every month each year. I just pay the excess every year and he has £4000 of cover each year. It has been worth the premium.

Usually with dogs over 8 you have to pay an additional premium and they dont cover some things, cant remember what though. And im sure you cant get lifetime over 8, it was some time ago I got muffins insurance so cant really remember all the details if Im honest.

Snap. Its definitely been worth the monthly premium with alfie!! Alfie is insured with petplan. They covered his leg (even though I told them he had a problem with it and likely need surgery....I'm not quite sure why they agreed). They're more expensive than some of the other ones but he's had the best part of £7000 spent on his ops on his legs/medication and they've paid out for everything. He also has problems with his skin and chewing his feet and might need allergy testing if it comes back again. He's definitely getting his money's worth from them that's for sure!!!

Hi Charlene. If you are still looking for insurance, try Tesco pet insurance. Pet plan wouldn't do a covered for life policy for Tubbs. Tesco would. They only cover up to £7500 per condition but Tubbs is 7. It is £10 per month cheaper than Cleo's pet plan policy but it is covered for life too. It's not a big excess either. Might be worth investigating if you haven't got anything yet.
