Anybody any thoughts on whistle recall. Was in a field last week and another lady blew her whistle and lexi instantly went to her...... Is it to late to start this after a year???

i wouldn't think so sharon... both kendal and i use a whistle at times... get one and start in the house with a quick blast from it and when lexi comes to you to see what it's all about reward her with a treat .... lead that on to out in the park with a long line so if you blow and if she doesn't click the first few times you can tug on the lead and bring her back for a nibble!

Murphy is over a year old and we started whistle training him a couple of weeks ago, he's responded
really well to it.
I use 4 short whistles for recall and 1 long for sit, only cause thats what the leaflet with the whistle suggested.
Soon as he hears it he bolts towards us.
