Hi John,

We were going to pop down with Bauer tonight (hopefully classes aren't full up). We have been off for a while because he had what appeared to be an eye infection where he started to lose the hair round his eyes, and the skin was going dry and itchy. We had to wait a while on Vet results but it turns out he's not contagious after all, just allergic! No more beef, lamb, cows milk or corn for him!

Amanda and John

Hi,

yes we would be delighted to see you back at class.

sounds like a nasty allergy.....that will be difficult to work around.

John

Poor Bauer!! I have a little friend for him here. Alfie's allergy tests came back pretty similar- beef, lamb and cows milk. He also can't have chicken cos it seems to give him diarrhoea whether it's fresh or in dog food So bit of a nightmare. He's on fish based foods. Only problem is he has a bad habit of running up to people on walks to get treats which he usually does before I get chance to say anything! (most people in Alfie's class will know he has a good "poor starving dog" look)
His skins not perfect. He still bothers at his feet and has baldy ears/eyes at times but he's def better than he was.
Hopefully Bauer will get there....at least it didn't come back as anything too bad!!
