Hi Everyone,

sorry to hear Tia is not herself......if she is eating and drinking I wouldn't be overly concerned at the moment.

Sicknote back to her old self, ended up taking her to the vet just to be sure and she got an antihistimain jag and some eye drops , he reckons its just an allergy, she is such a sensitive wee soul ( LOL )
I still thinks its missing class and lack of kisses myself .....

Jean, glad to hear Breagha is getting back to normal.

See you all soon

Thought it might be an allergy as they don't get colds quite like we do but didn't like to say in case it might put you off seeing vet. Glad that is all it was and she's getting back to normal.

Glad Tia better. Angus is on eye drops for life now... £48 for 1 month supply!!! Seemingly westies prone to " dry eye" caused by immune system attacking tear glands. He is still his mad self.. Attacking tv etc. . We are getting new suite so trying to stop him jumping up on present suite( which we allowed before..) so that when new one deliverex10-12 weeks he ll no longer do it... I think he has been a bit quieter since we ve stopped him sitting up on suite. Cesar and vet advised me years ago that if you allow dog up at your level they see themselves equal to or in a dominant dog more important than the humans so we ll see how it goes. He s getting the message but still sneaks up when we re out the room!!

Glad Tia is feeling a bit better!

That's expensive Jean. What kind of drops is he getting? Even if you can't get them without a prescription, your vet can write you a prescription and you can buy online...usually a lot cheaper. Pet dispensary are very good.

He s on optimune drops. Insurance will pay for first year but after that its down to me. They weren't working very well at beginning and vet was thinking about referring g to vet school as specialist there makes his own stronger dosage. That's £170 just for consultation and I'm not sure if insurance will pay for that.
