You get pretty good care in Germany, don't you?

I think I read that you can expect any surgery to be done almost immediately with no waiting lists! I'm sorry to say things are rather different here. Sad

yes indeed, but almost all people are still moaning about the service. You have to pay quite high insurance and 10€ for seeing a doctor - if you don't have a referral. But you can just phone a dermatologist, eye specialist, urologists, gynecologist or what ever to make an appointment and get a check-over. You don't have to wait ages to visit a medical specialist. Confused

The whole health care system is a bit better organized - it seems preventive medical checkup is not well known over here neither.

What ever - living in Scotland is just more relaxed and you can keep a dog without paying taxes for it...

keep well and fit!! drunken

Interesting, Marco. I guess folk will always moan no matter what system is in place and even the best of those systems will be flawed in places.

It is a whole political ball game really, isn't it? Confused

Thank you all.

we are on the list for Dr. Morrison & Partners - Will see how they are. Good to be in a Cumbernauld Practice anyway.

Glad to hear it.

It can't be comfortable to be without a G.P.
