Now that Im an anorak with a van, going away for five days to bellhaven - supposedly the sunniest and driest place in scotland, its next to Dunbar.

going away next week-end to the callander highland games, with supposedly the best police dog shows in the country so looking forward to that as long as its still not pissn down.

looking for ideas for a really posh hotel with a pool for a 2 nighter in october (honeymoon)....so if any one has any ideas...contacted airth castle which I fancied and they have no vacancies... contacted gleneagles but could take a week at a posh all inclusive in the carribean for the money they wanted Shocked

May end up doing a week in the canaries if I cant find a suitable hotel at a reasonable cost

So any ideas for a 2 nighter in scotland???? all suggestions welcome.

JayDee and I go to the Lodge On the Loch a lot. Its beautiful there, the staff are lovely and its such a quaint little building. There are two buildings, a more modern one and a more traditional one.

Its beautiful there.
