Poor Sony got stung by a wasp in the morning! She was just laying on the windowsill, that´s her favorite place in the morning sun (little cat Very Happy) . Than she started to scream I was shocked, sitting in front of the computer and doing this stupid bubble wrap thing in the forum Embarassed ...
The wasp lost her sting in Sonys lip so I had to remove it. That must have heart her so much. Crying or Very sad Crying or Very sad Crying or Very sad
After wards she was a bit sad, not talking to me or something. I couldn´t cool it, because she was always licking it. Now she has a thick, swollen lip and I gave her a frozen Frankfurter as ice lolly. I am so glad she wasn´t stung in her mouth or something...

Lots of cuddles and kisses phoebe and just keep an eye on her lip that's what i would do!
the ice lolly is a great idea as it may take down some of the swelling, maybe Janis or Kendal could give you some advise as Inca was stung hundreds of time when she was caught up in a wasps nest!!!

Hope your both alright!!! Sending you lots of hugs and kisses!!
xx

WHEN I TOOK INCA TO THE VET THE FIRST THING THEY WANTED TO KNOW WAS NOT HOW MANY TIMES SHE WAS STUNG BUT IF HER BREATHING WAS OK!

THEREAFTER SHE WAS GIVEN A STRONG PAIN KILLER AND AN ANTI INFLAMMATORY INJECTION!

IF SONY'S BREATHING IS AFFECTED THEN SHE IS LIKELY TO BE ALLERGIC BUT OTHERWISE SHE SHOULD BE FINE!

I FULLY UNDERSTAND HOW YOU FEEL IT CAN BE SO SCARY!

LOTS OF CUDDLES AND TUMMY RUBS AND SHE'LL BE AS GOOD AS NEW IN NO TIME! Smile

Thanks for the hugs and tummy rubs and licks! Wink
The breathing was the first thing I tested, and it was absolutely fine. I was enormous relived, cause I´ve no car today and to go to the vet in time would had been a huge problem.
Yes, I think she is fine, and the swelling is going down.
But she is so frightened now. There was a fly in the living room a minute ago, and she was just running out as fast as she could! Hopefully it will not turn into a freaky anxiety about insects! Sad
I hate this evil black and yellow striped beasts!!! cussing

Oh don´t say that, Sheryl! I would cover her in mosquito net all over, if necessary. Laughing

sorry to hear about sony, hugs from me and the girls

inca has not bothered about flys or or anything since her run in with the nest but saying that i dont think she knew what it was that was hurting her. she will probably have forgotten about it by tomorrow.
