what about having a page for animals needing rehomed. i always know of animals needing a home and im sure as doggie people you are always hearing of a friend of a friend thats getting rid of a dog or cat? _________________ your cat will never annoy by barking at 3am, he wont attack the postman or eat the curtains, although he may climb them to see how the room looks from the ceiling... |

that's a great idea.
Just recently we had someone who approached us looking to rehome a Patterdale Terrier.
I'm sure we could slot that in. Perhaps combine that with a 'wanted' type of section where people are looking for specific breeds????
Just yesterday someone came up to John in Tesco to ask if he knew if anyone had any GSD or GSD cross pups for sale.
I'm sure we could add something in that covers these types of posts in a section of their own. |

Yeh I suppose so Kirsty it would have to be Policed as you wouldn't want the forum used as an advertising site for puppies for sale. |

v. good idea if policed correctly
worse case senario is someone joining to obtain free animals to use as bait (sorry sounds really horrible) but so are some people!

That's true El ............ we had chatted about that possibilty that it could be misused. But Both john and I will keep a close eye on what gets posted and by whom. Posts are easily removed if need be! |
