what about having a page for animals needing rehomed. i always know of animals needing a home and im sure as doggie people you are always hearing of a friend of a friend thats getting rid of a dog or cat?

that's a great idea. Very Happy
Just recently we had someone who approached us looking to rehome a Patterdale Terrier.
I'm sure we could slot that in. Perhaps combine that with a 'wanted' type of section where people are looking for specific breeds????
Just yesterday someone came up to John in Tesco to ask if he knew if anyone had any GSD or GSD cross pups for sale.

I'm sure we could add something in that covers these types of posts in a section of their own.

on holiday up north years ago met an old gentleman with a patterdale terrier he was a beautiful little dog, only ever seen one but remember it well. hope it finds good home.. they are quite a rare breed

Yeh I suppose so Kirsty it would have to be Policed as you wouldn't want the forum used as an advertising site for puppies for sale.

Good idea...but would need to be contained to stop it getting too big as Kirsty says.

yes i agree. i know of 2 cats needing rehomed, need to go together (i know this is a dog page, but hey!) 2 tabby boys, about 2 and a half years old if anyone knows of a good home?

v. good idea if policed correctly

worse case senario is someone joining to obtain free animals to use as bait (sorry sounds really horrible) but so are some people!

That's true El ............ we had chatted about that possibilty that it could be misused. But Both john and I will keep a close eye on what gets posted and by whom. Posts are easily removed if need be! Smile
