OK I would be interested to know how much you spend feeding your dogs....tell us the breed , what you feed and the cost. No discussion on merits of diet here Wink

I have two GSD's approx 36 Kilos each, fit, healthy, well exersised, strong appetites, fed 100% raw some purchased and some free from local butcher and fishmonger

total per month is around £12.50 for each dog

I have three dogs

Star xbreed 18kg
Libby xbreed 14kg
Jake GSD 11kg (at the moment)

I feed 100% raw and it costs about £17 per dog a month because I use AMP which is a bit more expensive than Landywoods.

Well, I have a Westie (9.5kilos) and Multi-Pedigree (aka a mongrel - 8.4kilos) Laughing ......I don't actually know, in total, how much I spend on food for my dogs per month. A big bag of Burns (15kg) is £35, that does us for a 3-4 months at least. I would normally buy the 7.5kg bag (I sent my granpa out for it the last time, told him what size of bag to get and gave him the right money for it, and he came home with the biggest bag Rolling Eyes ) I add a drizzel of EV olive oil to their teas every night. Then you have the tuna, chicken, mackerel, cheese, liver, dog biscuits, chews, treats etc etc etc...... Confused I've no idea how much that all comes to per month!

Ok confession time Laughing

My dogs up till recently only got cheap greyhound kibble, 2 bags a month costs us £14, they have all done ok on it but now they are all (apart from Pixel) ancient I have decided to add a bit of raw stuff, at the moment they are still getting the kibble, once I work out what they will all eat, having 4 makes it a bit more difficult... though I suppose you will tell me Fiona that it isnt that difficult Very Happy I also need to get an extra freezer.
I think I may go all the way with the raw but we will see Smile I am not the most organised person and I think i need to be for the raw Rolling Eyes

So 4 dogs, 2 lurchers, I greyhound and 1 whippet
= £14

Dog: Doogle
Breed: Cocker Spaniel
Weight: No, Doogle! I said WAAAAAIIIIIIITTT! Little so-and-so.
Diet: Some raw meat / fish (for those intimate nights in), kibble, Burns and the odd Kebab.
Cost: House and home.

My other half will be around sometime with a sensible answer. Very Happy

Embarassed Don't really know. I think its about £17-£20. Now he's older he shouldn't need so much but he doesn't seem to be putting on weight so I'm just keeping an eye on the quantities.

OK mines works out at £3.50 per dog per month Shocked

I dont think I will be cheaper on anything else, but im sure the dogs will be better off on better food, though Misty is the only one looking thinish and at 13 and a greyhound who has lost all muscle tone she isnt the worst

Rufus is really cheap to feed!

James Wellbeloved Puppy Kibble - a £6.50 bag lasts for about two -three weeks.

The Kong peanut butter paste, which we use to top his kibble filled Kong was £5 and we are still on our first one.

The odd scrambled egg as a treat, so pennies really!
The wee soul is a cheap date!
